In the face of critique by outside actors, continued self-interrogation and a responsiveness will bring NPR closer to providing programming for a multiplicity of publics, rather than an echoing of the limited demographics of its foundational voices.

I conducted an undergraduate research project on indigenous language usage within Peruvian hip-hop groups and how it differs regionally. I have linked the English translation of findings from field observations and interviews in Cusco, Lima, and Puno, Peru.
